What I'm currently working on

I'm editing a satirical short story called "Everyone Needs a Personal Brand." It weaves together observations from my decade-long career in the tech industry with the absurdity factor dialed all the way up. If you love Severance, Office Space, or Sorry to Bother You as much as I do, you might enjoy this story. Here's an excerpt:
Before Daisy could set foot inside the private shuttle that would transport its passengers from the city of Los Altos into the rarefied enclave of the Los Altos Hills, the driver shoved a clipboard and pen into her hands. Across the top it read NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT.

This non-disclosure agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into by and between Aduro Ventures (“Host”) and Daisy Cho (“Guest”) for the purpose of preventing the unauthorized disclosure of confidential information such as trade secrets, intellectual property, and plastic surgeon recommendations (“Gatekeeping”).

She signed her name and took a seat. In the short fifteen-minute ride across municipal lines, home values swelled along with Daisy’s expectations.
